Leadership & Community Action

Westmount High School proudly presents…

Leadership & Community Action

Leadership

Is a Secondary V course that aims to enhance one’s ‘leadership abilities’ and ‘life skills’ through a number of different ways.

Giving back to our school and the community is something that we, as Leadership students, take much pride in.

By performing volunteer work, coordinating assemblies and managing athletic teams, to list a few things we do, the Leadership Group has a tremendous role to play @ WHS.

We also prepare ourselves to organize & assist in the running of both 'Snowtastic', a full day of fun and ‘Family Breakfast’ where we help set up and serve over 1200 breakfasts!

The spirit of Terry Fox is alive and well at Westmount High through Leadership. One of our leadership highlights would have to be the MacKay Centre / Philip E. Layton Terry Fox Run Walk’n Roll.

Leadership, at Westmount High, is without a doubt, one of the most rewarding classes you will ever experience.

“Leadership is practiced not

so much in words as in attitude

and action.”

Harold S. Geneen

If your actions inspire others

to dream more, learn more, do

more and become more, you are

a leader.

 John Quincy Adams
